Davis yet to take officials

Tampa (Fla.) Jefferson three-star wide receiver Andre Davis has had a fluctuating list throughout his recruitment. That remains the case for the 6-foot-1, 180-pound wideout.
"I am looking at Rutgers, Cincinnati, Georgia, Arkansas, Texas Tech, USF, Florida State, and West Virginia," Davis said. "All of them have offered me except Georgia."

At this time, Davis said that those schools are in no kind of order. He is trying to figure out when he will be able to hit the road and see a few of them up-close and personal. He was previously scheduled to visit Cincinnati but a family emergency prevented that trip from happening.
"I haven't set up any official visits yet," Davis said. "I am not sure which schools will definitely get visits. It will most likely be the out-of-state schools. Right now it is pretty likely I go to Texas Tech and Rutgers for a visit, those are the most likely."
The Red Raiders and Scarlet Knights are joined by the hometown Bulls as the schools that are recruiting him the hardest. With schools near and far on his list, Davis says that distance isn't a factor in any way.
"I am open to getting out of state or staying in state," Davis said. "It really doesn't matter to me."
What does matter to Davis is finding a place that fits him both athletically and academically.
"I just want to find what it would be like to be there and if I am going to be competing for a job," Davis said. "I also want a school with business management. I plan to major in that."
As a senior, Davis has 30 receptions for 736 yards and seven touchdowns for Jefferson (7-0). The Dragons square off with Dixie Hollins this Friday.
