Davis takes in Mississippi State

MORE: 2016 prospect Edmonds enjoys Wake, UNC camps
Meridian (Miss.) 2016 defensive tackle Raekwon Davis is hard to miss at 6-foot-7 and just over 300 pounds. He tends to stand out in a crowd, and Friday at Mississippi State's Big Dawg Camp, he did just that.

Davis soaked in the experience in Starkville, and left impressed with the Bulldog program.
"There was a whole bunch of competition," Davis said. "Technique, they taught me new things, and how to work your hands. There were good people here. I had a lot of competition. It was great down here."
The Bulldogs have already offered Davis, as have Ole Miss, Alabama, and South Carolina. Speculation has already begun about where he will go, but he is not ready to declare any standouts among his offers.
While he does not claim any leaders, there was one offer that really caught his attention upon receiving it.
"Bama," Davis said
The Meridian program has sent several talented prospects to the college level, and one former Meridian standout has already started recruiting him a little bit.
"C.J. Hampton, he went to Ole Miss," Davis said.
Davis was the only underclassmen to make the Rivals.com Top Performers list from Mississippi State's Big Dawg Camp on Friday.
