Dade City (Fla.) Pasco wide receiver Darrell Davis has been on quite a few unofficial visits but he's ready to get down to business with his official trips this fall.
Though it was reported that he was supposed to have made a visit to North Carolina State this past weekend, that was news to Davis who was not gone. However, the 6-foot-4, 200-pound prospect does plan on taking a visit there and many others.
"The only definite trip I have set up is to Pittsburgh," Davis said. "That's going to be Dec. 2. That will probably be my second trip because I should have another one in between there in the month of November. I'm not sure who will get that spot. Most likely it will be South Carolina."
One team that has shot up the charts in Davis' mind is Michigan State.
"They haven't offered, but they had a coach come down this last week to talk to my coach," Davis said. "They expressed a lot of interest in me. I think an offer should come soon."
Davis also lists NC State, South Carolina, and South Florida as teams he likes right now. He'll have plenty of time to decide.
