Davis set for first official visit

"I went to the Ohio State-Washington game," wide receiver Fred Davis said. "And I went to the Michigan-Notre Dame game."
"I'll probably go to the Ohio State-Northwestern game the weekend after this one."
"I leave on Saturday for an official visit to Oklahoma. I'm also going to make official visits to Miami, Ohio State, and USC."
"My fifth visit is open. Probably either Pitt or Florida. Those are my six schools so far, until I think differently. All of them offered. Everybody's offered."
"Ohio State's at the top of my list. Miami's second."
"I'm going to graduate Jan. 16. I'll enrol in college in January and go through spring practice. I want to try to get some playing time as a freshman."
The 6-foot-4 and 210 pound Davis, from Toledo (Ohio) Rogers, caught 35 passes for 610 yards, averaged 17.4 per grab, and scored 26 times during his junior season. He has caught 20 passes during the first four games of his senior season and scored seven times.
Davis is the number two overall prospect in the state of Ohio. He is the number four wide receiver prospect and has a four star rating.
