Davis picks up fourth offer

Rivals250 to watch running back Brandon Davis has picked up his fourth scholarship offer, this one from an Atlantic Coast Conference program. The offer gives the Suwanee (Ga.) Peachtree Ridge prospect his third from an ACC school.
"Coach Glenn Spencer from Duke got in touch with us and said that they are offering Brandon a full scholarship," Davis' father told Rivals.com on Friday afternoon.

The Blue Devils are the fourth program to extend an offer to the 5-foot-9, 190-pounder, who led Peachtree Ridge to the Georgia Class 5A title game as a junior. Previously, Virginia Tech, Maryland and Vanderbilt have offered Davis.
Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, LSU and Wake Forest also have shown interest in Davis, who rushed for more than 1,300 yards and 13 touchdowns during his junior year.
This weekend, Davis will make an unofficial visit to South Carolina for the Gamecocks Junior Day. Peachtree Ridge cornerback Cameron Demps also is expected to be in Columbia.
