Davis names Big Ten visit
"I like Maryland, Penn State, Virginia, Florida, Tennessee, and Michigan," tight end Vernon Davis said. "And Pitt, Michigan State, and West Virginia some."

Davis, a 6-foot-4 and 220 pounder from Washington D.C. Dunbar, has a 2.8 GPA, but won't take either the SAT or ACT till the Fall.
Davis caught 35 passes during his junior season. He scored 12 times and also played safety.
