Davis mother impressed with visit

"We were in Columbus this weekend," wide receiver Fred Davis' mother Margo Davis said when asked if her son Fred was home. "We were on his official visit to Ohio State."
"I left last night because I had to be in church this morning."
"It was wonderful there. I met so many people. There were a lot of recruits. Archie Griffin was there. The coaches."
"We had dinner at coach Tressel's house. There was prime rib. There was so much food."
"Coach Tressel's a great guy. He's a nice, spiritual man. He's just a really great guy."
"Fred's going to visit Miami, then I'm not sure when he's going to announce a decision."
Davis has made official visits to Ohio State, Oklahoma, and USC.
The 6-foot-4 and 210 pounder, from Toledo (Ohio) Rogers, had over 500 yards receiving and over 600 rushing during his senior season. He is the number three wide receiver prospect with a five star rating.
