Anthony Davis is already on the national recruiting scene and the cornerback from Monroeville (Pa.) Gateway is attracting some big names.
"I got the Penn State offer last weekend but Nebraska is my most recent offer," said the 6-foot-1, 175-pound Davis. "They're a great school. I was talking to one of their coaches on Facebook and he sent me a video of their first spring practice and them doing the Harlem Shake so that was pretty funny. I haven't been out there but I am trying to go for their spring game on April 6 but I need to talk to my parents about that."
Davis has already taken a couple of visits.
"I liked West Virginia when I went for a game last year," he said. "Penn State was nice. I think Nebraska will be nice and I like what I've heard about them. I went down to Maryland for their junior day and it was beautiful down there."
There are a few other schools that Davis is in contact with.
"I'm getting a lot of mail from Pittsburgh," said Davis. "I've gone down there a couple of times. I actually am kind of surprised that Pittsburgh hasn't offered me yet because my coach tells me almost every week that they are close to offering me. Boston College is sending me hand-written letters but they haven't offered me yet. I've also been talking to Georgia Tech, Penn State and the other schools that have offered me."
The only visit Davis has planned right now is to Temple on March 23.
