Davis likes offensive positions

When a prospect has the frame that Tampa Blake prospect Ryan Davis has, coaches are going to have a number of different choices with position placement. That is exactly the case for the talented senior-to-be.
His coach will give him the chance to move away from defensive end as a senior and put in time as a tight end or possibly even a wide receiver. That's exactly what the 6-foot-4, 235-pounder prefers.

"I like catching the ball and that's where I feel like I can do the best," Davis says about the offensive spot. "I can do some things on defense though too."
Florida, LSU, Florida State, Oklahoma, Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, and others have been consistent schools sending him mail.
Two schools close to home are leading the pack.
"I like Florida and Florida State a lot," Davis said. "Florida, I mean I grew up watching them and throughout my football career I've watched them. Florida State has one of the top engineering programs in the country. When I go to college, that's what I want to major in.
"I'm looking for solid academics."
Davis hasn't taken any trips, but Auburn is a school he's trying to visit soon.
