Davis has Pac-12 leader

Andrew Davis worked out at the UCLA camp this summer, landed an offer and the Bruins are clearly the favorite in his recruitment.
The Upland, Calif., defensive back has not received any other offers up to this point but it's more than that with UCLA since he's built such a strong relationship with position coach Demetrice Martin in the last few months.

UCLA looks great in his recruitment but Davis said he's not ready to make a commitment just yet. Davis, who was at the Treyjohn Butler commitment ceremony last week, still wants to see if others get involved in the coming months.
"I would say I'm very interested in them," Davis said. "I have a huge interest in them right now.
"Coach (Martin) is an amazing man. My relationship with him is just amazing. They're definitely No. 1. I can't say it enough. They're definitely No. 1 right now."
As for other interest, the Upland prospect said it has been limited. Northern Arizona has been sending a bunch of mail recently and could offer. UNLV, Portland State and Sacramento State have also been involved in recent months.
Davis said he could wait into his senior year to make a decision but there is a chance he could make a pledge sooner because he likes UCLA and enjoys his relationship with Martin so much.
"I'm going to go ahead and wait for the season," Davis said. "I would say the interest level is too high. He and I are too close. I might make a quick decision on that but it's not for sure yet.
"There is a lot of love with UCLA."
Davis earned the defensive MVP honors at the UCLA camp this summer.
