Davis gives visit perfect 10

Durham (N.C.) Northern Durham cornerback A.J. Davis is back from his first official visit. And it's definitely clear that his visit to Norte Dame left a lasting impression.
"I would give it a 10 definitely," Davis said when asked to rate his visit on a scale from one to 10.

"It went really good. I just hung out with the players, went to the game and had a great time."
Davis said two things did stand out about his visit - the pep rally and Bob Davie.
"I know that coach Davie has been getting a lot of heat, but he's a great coach and a really good person to talk to," Davis said.
"He made it very clear that they are just a few really good athletes away from being back where they need to be. And let me tell you about that pep rally. I've never seen anything like it. The people were coming up and asking me for autographs. They all knew that I was a recruit."
Davis said he was tempted to commit at one point, but decided to hold off and compare Notre Dame to other schools.
"I'm going to visit Alabama for sure," Davis said. "I'm going there on Jan. 11. Florida State is another place I now want to visit. N.C. State and UNC will probably be the others."
Oklahoma, a school he has listed for several months, appears to be slipping.
"I hear they got a few other cornerbacks," Davis said.
