Darks still hoping for offers
Lufkin, Texas linebacker Aaron Darks has had several schools call. But, he’s still waiting for his first scholarship offer.
“There have been a bunch of schools calling,” the 6-foot-1, 205-pound Darks said. “Nobody today, but there have been several all week.”

The schools to call recently are Iowa, Arkansas, Houston, Oklahoma, Kansas State among others.
“I don’t have a favorite among the schools,” he said. “I don’t want to eliminate any schools as of this point. I want to be fair and have as many options as I can. But, I am still waiting for my first school to offer me a scholarship.”
Darks enjoys the calls and talks with the coaches.
“I tak to them for quite a while,” Darks said. “They ask about how my classes are going. And they check up on our season. I don’t know what my stats are for the season. I feel I’ve been playing good, but I have a chance to be better if I can get into the groove.”
