Darks set to make final trip

Lufkin, Texas linebacker Aaron Darks gave Arizona coach Mike Stoops a verbal commitment after his visit to Tucson. Now, the three-star linebacker is preparing for his final visit.
"He is going to visit Kansas State this weekend," Lufkin linebacker coach Todd Quick said. "Coach Stoops was in town to meet with him yesterday evening. I haven't had the chance to talk to him about what was said. He just told me this morning he was still going to Kansas State."

Stoops wasn't the only visitor Darks had yesterday.
"Coach (Bill) Snyder was here at the school yesterday," Quick said. "He and Aaron had about an hour talk in the office. A couple of assistants were there with him to talk to Aaron."
Darks, a 6-foot-1, 205-pounder, departs Friday morning.
"One of us will take him down to the airport so he can get on the plane to go," the coach said. "He has always talked about Kansas State. If he's taking a visit, he has some interest in the school, obviously. He won't just take a visit to be taking a visit."
