Darks ses the sign

Pflugerville (Texas) Connally three-star athlete Darius Darks admitted he was looking for a sign to help him make his college choice between Iowa State and Michigan State.
The 6-foot-1, 175-pounder had visited both schools over in early December and was on the verge of making his decision.

That's when something helped push him in one direction and onto the commitment list for the Cyclones.
"The night before Michigan State told me they filled up and had no more room," Darks said. "It was between them and Iowa State, so I took that as a sign that I should go to Iowa State. I think it just made my decision even easier. I was kind of leaning that way already, but this made it even easier for me.
"It puts me in a real good position to grow and develop as a player. Plus, I also think I can play early at Iowa State."
Darks was also offered a scholarship by Baylor and Purdue. Nebraska and Oklahoma were also showing some interest, but nobody pursued him as heavily as Iowa State and assistant Jay Rodgers.
"I like him a lot," Darks said. "I'm done. I've made up my mind. I don't see any reasons to take any more visits. I'm solid on my decision."
