Darks lines up first visit
Lufkin, Texas linebacker Aaron Darks has picked up another scholarship offer and set his first visit.
“Texas Tech offered me recently,” the 6-foot-1, 205-pound Darks said. “That gives me three offers along with Houston and Kansas. But, I’ve only got one visit set. I’m going to visit Kansas.”

The trip to Lawrence will be on December 12.
“That’s the only visit I have set for now,” he said. “I might go and visit Texas Tech and I’m thinking about Houston too. But, I don’t know about them.”
With an offer in hand and a visit set, does that put the Big 12 North team in the lead?
“No. I wouldn’t say that. I’m still pretty open. I don’t have a favorite school. I want to keep my options open so I can find the best place for me. If that ends up being Kansas after the first visit, then it is Kansas. But, right now, I don’t want to call them the leader.”
Darks finished up his season with 56 tackles and six quarterback sacks.
