Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln offensive lineman Calvin Darity (6-foot-4, 275 pounds, 4.9-second 40-yard dash) has passed the midway point of the official visit process, having already visited three schools. His latest trip was to LSU, and he will spend the next two weekends on the road before making a decision.
“It was pretty good,” he described his latest trip. “There was nothing significant, but it gave me a good feel of what they had to offer.

“It was just like all the others. I am just basically trying to learn about the schools and to answer all my parent’s questions.” He was hosted by junior defensive end Jarvus Ryes and said the trip was even with the two he had already taken.
Darity, rated the No. 48 prospect on The Rivals100 list and the No. 1 offensive guard in the nation has already visited Nebraska and North Carolina, in addition to LSU. He will travel to Tennessee (Jan. 23) and Florida State (Jan. 30), and then will make a decision.
