Official visit No. 3 is in the books for the nation’s top-rated offensive guard.
Four-star Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln prospect Calvin Darity made a trip to see the national champions on the Bayou.

“LSU was nice,” he said. “It was a pretty good trip overall. It gave me a good sense of how they run their program, you know, some of those minor details that each school has that helps you make your decision.
“The coaches are good people. I enjoyed getting to know them and some of the players down there.”
Darity (6-4, 275, 4.9) said junior defensive end Jarvus Ryes served as his host during the visit.
“Their players are nice,” he said. “I had a good time doing stuff with them.”
A member of the Rivals100 Team, Darity still has trips to Tennessee (1/23) and Florida State (1/30) remaining. Prior to LSU, he had visited Nebraska and North Carolina.
“All five schools are still in it,” he said. “I haven’t narrowed it down yet. I won’t make my decision until I take all my trips.”
