Darden has favorite

Running back Marcus Darden (5-9, 175, 4.5) from Compton (Calif.) Dominguez is another in a long line of special players who have played for the Dons. According to Darden he has three offers on the table and is getting a lot recruiting attention from other schools.
Darden has offers from Ole Miss, Colorado and Arizona. He is getting recruiting attention from the likes of Boise State, Fresno State, Minnesota, Cal, Oregon and UCLA.

As a junior Darden rushed for 1,117 yards and scored 16 touchdowns while averaging 9.2 yards per carry.
Darden shared the ball with a senior in 2008, but this coming fall he will get the majority of the touches and as a matter of fact, Dominguez is planning on getting the ball to Darden in a variety of different ways, including having return punts and kicks.
While Darden isn't planning on going to many camps this spring there is one he's not going to miss.
"I'm going to the NIKE Camp to be held in Los Angeles on Sunday (April 20th)," Darden said. "I don't think I'll be taking any other camps.
Darden is just beginning to do his research on the schools that are recruiting him.
"I don't too much about Ole Miss," Darden said. "Just what my coaches have told me.
"I know a player at Colorado (Anthony Wright) who played at Compton," Darden said. "I haven't talked to him for awhile. I don't a lot about Colorado either.
"I don't much about Arizona, but I'm very interested in them," Darden said. "I like their style. It seems like they have tough players.
Does Darden have a particular favorite school?
"I want to go to Cal," Darden said. "It's close to home. They have a good team and I feel I would fit in and do well there.
