Dantonios departure doesnt bother Martinez

Last month Teaneck, N.J. defensive end Randy Martinez committed to the Bearcats. In light of Mark Dantonio's departure to Michigan State, is that having any effect on the 6-foot-0, 231-pounder?
"Right now I'm still very much involved with Cincinnati," he stated. "Coach Dantonio was a great coach, but I fell in love with the program and still am excited to be a Bearcat.

"I like the whole program there and the atmosphere. Coach Narduzzi was my main recruiter and he might get the job. I already know him and would love to play for him, but even if he doesn't get the job I most likely will be a Bearcat."
Pat Narduzzi has already been in touch with the two-star prospect.
"He told me that they are figuring out probably by next week if he'll be getting the job," he said. "He told me specifically that he'd still love to have me there."
A few schools have come in for Martinez including Wisconsin, Rutgers, Akron and Connecticut, but as he stated above he's still firm to Cincinnati.
This season Martinez helped his team to a 9-2 record.
"We had a tough loss in the semifinals of the playoffs," he said. "I did very well and finished with 85 tackles and nine sacks. I felt like I did the best I could and am proud to say I helped the team to the best record in school history."
