Daniels down to final two

Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln wide receiver Keondrick Daniels will make his final decision on Wednesday, and says it is down to two schools at this point.
"It is mainly FIU or UConn," Daniels said. "I am just going to make my decision on Wednesday and sign."

Previously, Iowa State and Middle Tennessee were also in the picture for his services.
During the process, Daniels has used just one allotted official visit.
"The only official visit I have taken was Connecticut," Daniels said.
Daniels visited the Huskies back in late October. Since that time they have had a change with regards to their head coach, as Randy Edsall departed for another job and was replaced by Paul Pasqualoni. Despite all of the changes in Storrs, Daniels said his recruitment was relatively unaffected.
"It didn't change things much," Daniels said.
As for the in-state Golden Panthers, while he didn't make it down to the campus for an official visit, he has previously visited the school unofficially. He is also regularly staying in contact with an assistant on Mario Cristobal's staff.
"I have been talking with Coach (Apollo) Wright," Daniels said.
Daniels had 40 receptions for 555 yards and six touchdowns as a senior. He is also playing basketball for Lincoln this season.
