Daniel serious about Oklahoma offer

Oklahoma and Colorado are the two latest offers for Jacob Daniel as the 2015 defensive tackle from Fresno (Calif.) Clovis North continues to see his recruitment ramp up.
Getting an offer from Colorado was a little shocking since he hadn't been hearing from the Buffaloes much. The same cannot be said about Oklahoma, though, since the Sooners made it clear for a while they were interested in the 6-foot-5, 300-pound recruit.

"I wasn't really surprised by the Oklahoma offer," Daniel said.
"They said they were going to come over pretty soon and they said they were going to offer me in the spring. They were talking to me but Colorado I was pretty surprised by. They're also looking at some of my teammates."
Oklahoma is another major offer for Daniel, who has seen his recruitment take off in a serious way the last few months. The Sooners definitely intrigue the 2015 prospect and that's one program he's going to reach out to more as his recruitment continues.
"I really do want to take a closer look," Daniel said. "They have a great history with that program and a lot of players that have come out of that program are pretty amazing."
Alabama had reached out to Daniel but he said in recent weeks the Crimson Tide have slowed it down a little bit. He hopes to keep hearing from Alabama because that is definitely a program he wants to be involved with.
"They haven't been reaching out a lot lately but hopefully they'll talk to me more soon," Daniel said.
So far, Daniel has landed offers from Cal, Colorado, Fresno State, Hawaii, Houston, Iowa, Miami, Oklahoma, Oregon State, San Diego State, Utah, Washington, Washington State and Wisconsin.
With things happening so quickly, Daniel said he's nowhere near narrowing down his list.
"I'm still just letting them come in," Daniel said. "I still have so much time."
