Rivals250 defensive end Elijah Daniel had scheduled an official visit to Florida for this coming weekend, but the Avon, Ind., native will not be in Gainesville to see the Gators host LSU.
"It was supposed to go down, but I talked to [Bryant Young] Tuesday and he said it would be better if I came after the season so I could get some real one-on-one time," Daniel said. "They had a big game this weekend, so he didn't want me to come down then and I couldn't get as much time as I wanted with him."
Daniel has already taken an official visit to Marshall this fall. He is in talks with Mississippi State, Arizona State and others about potential official visits in the future, but has no others set at this time.

One of Daniel's official visits is expected to go to Clemson, the school he committed to in June. The 6-foot-3, 249-pound Daniel still maintains close contact with the Tigers staff.
"I just talked to Coach [Brent] Venables tonight and I also talked to Coach [Dabo] Swinney tonight too," Daniel said. "I am still committed to Clemson right now. Obviously I am still looking around too, but right now I am just worried about the season"
Daniel will host representatives from the UnderArmour All-American Game at his school Friday to present him with his game jersey.
