Daniel keeps loading up

Jacob Daniel has been surprised by this whole process.
The 2015 defensive tackle from Fresno (Calif.) Clovis North was pretty sure his recruitment might pick up but it's been in supersonic speed the last few weeks as more and more offers continue to arrive for the 6-foot-5, 300-pound prospect.

They've all been complete surprises.
The two newest ones have come from Miami and Houston. Prior to those two it was Oregon State, Fresno State and Hawaii. Cal, Utah and Wisconsin are also on the early list for Daniel who said he's been completely shocked by each offer.
"It's really been starting to speed up," Daniel said.
The 2015 prospect is not quite sure how all these major colleges have learned about him. He's pretty confident the coaches have watched some sophomore film and he also wants to thank his high school coaches who have been active in getting his name out there.
With so many early offers, Daniel thinks his recruitment could continue to stay busy but like with everything else he's not quite sure.
"I truly don't know," Daniel said. "My coaches like to e-mail college coaches and a lot of players on my team are getting looked at so it's probably a lot from that. My coaches have been trying to get me exposure and everything and I really appreciate that.
"It's really exciting. This has always been my dream to eventually play D1 ball so everything is starting to fall into place and it could only get better from here.
"Every offer has been a surprise so far."
More surprises could be on the way. Daniel said he is not hearing from any other programs, not getting new interest from any teams but that's how it's been this whole time - a shock that an offer came from another school and there's no reason to think that cannot continue.
