Katy, Texas, quarterback Andy Dalton has his team staring at an undefeated record through three games of the season and his recruiting is really starting to speed up with an official visit last week.

After camping all over this past summer, Dalton was a quarterback that wanted to perfect his skills. With 580 yards on the year including a first game performance of 250 yards and four touchdowns, things are moving right along as planned. On the recruiting front, UTEP as his lone offer, received an official visit this past weekend.
"Everything was nice," Dalton said. "The game was awesome and it was really great to be there in that atmosphere. I haven't set up any other visits, but I'm still open for everything. It's just nothing has been set up yet."
One school that looks to be making their presence known is Memphis.
"They want to see my tape from this year, so that seems like it's going in the right direction," Dalton said. "San Diego State and TCU also are in there but they haven't really talked about an offer just yet."
For Dalton, there is not set time, place, or exact spot that he wants to make his verbal commitment. In fact, it will come when he is ready.
