Dallas Skyline LB picks up second offer

The loaded Dallas (Texas) Skyline program is reloading for the 2010 class and there already looks to be several highly recruited prospects emerging on the radars of big-name programs across the country. One of those national recruits is linebacker Dominique Patterson. He already held one offer from Texas A&M and he recently picked up another.
"I got an offer from Iowa," Patterson said. "Coach said he had it in his office. I haven't looked at it yet. I got something in the mail to my mother saying that they offered me. My momma told me that she got the paper."

Patterson knows a little bit about the Big Ten program but as with all his offers he hopes to learn more.
"They had a good football season this year and everything," he said. "As [schools] come, I start to look into their values and learn more about them."
The Dallas Skyline halls have been a revolving door of big-name coaches coming through and Patterson has been one of their main targets.
"I'm pretty excited to see a lot of this attention," he said. "LSU was saying a lot of good things about me. I got to talk to Bob Stoops when he came through too. I didn't get to say much just kind of meet and greet him."
Patterson has also been invited to a number of major junior days. He has already attended the Texas A&M junior day and this weekend he will add LSU to that list.
"Me and (teammate) Corey [Nelson] are going down to LSU," he said. "He said he definitely wants to go so me, him, and (teammate) Mike [Davis] are going down this weekend."
