Dallas RB holding one offer

Dallas (Texas) Skyline running back Anthony Boykins continues to hold just one scholarship offer as his season continues to roll on.
“Everything is going good,” the 5-foot-8, 177-pound Boykins said. “I still have just the one offer from Louisiana-Monroe. I am getting some calls from other schools, though.”

Two schools that have called the two-star rated Boykins are Tennessee State and Texas A&M.
“Texas A&M called last week when I was still at practice,” he said. “I haven’t heard from them yet. Hopefully they will call me back.”
Despite the one offer, Boykins does not have a school at the top of his list.
“I don’t really have a favorite. I want to find a school that is interested in me. I want to find a good academic situation and a good environment in the town and the school. I’ll get the chance to see what the town and school are like when I take an official visit somewhere. I don’t have any of those scheduled yet, though.”
On the season, Boykins has helped lead Skyline to a 7-2 record, including seven straight wins after opening the season with two losses.
“We are really playing good. I have 15 touchdowns. I’m doing a lot better than I did last year. I’m over 700 yards rushing.”
