Dallas RB adds first offer

Dallas (Texas) Skyline running back Anthony Boykins has added one scholarship offer this summer, but his coach thinks more will be coming.
“Anthony gets a lot of mail all the time,” Skyline coach Que Brittain said. “There are a handful of letters in there everyday for him. I know he hasn’t gotten any offers recently, but there was one from Louisiana-Monroe earlier this summer.”

Brittain said despite the lack of offers, there are a lot of schools expressing interest.
“I know there are a lot of schools interested in him,” the coach said. “He’s got good size, good strength and great speed. At 5-foot-9 and 183 pounds, he puts a good package on the field and he can handle the load from the running back spot. With his speed, he can change things up for an offense if that is what someone needs.”
Brittain thinks his talented back will do more of what he did this spring when he takes the field this fall.
“This spring, he looked good. He had a lot of good workouts. I don’t doubt that he will be one of the better running backs in the Dallas area this year. If he keeps it up and performs like he did this spring when he gets going on the field this fall, he will turn a lot of heads.”
