Dallas duo receives SEC offer

Dallas (Texas) Skyline safety Keanon Cooper has been informed that his third scholarship offer is on the way from the SEC.
The 6-foot, 190-pound defensive back has already been told by his coach that Kansas State and Minnesota are on the way. Now, Alabama coach Major Applewhite has apparently told the Skyline coaches that Cooper along with teammate Spencer Reeves are scheduled to get an offer soon as well.

"Coach said coach Applewhite contacted him," Brown said. "All coach basically said was that Spencer and I are supposed to be getting the offer and the official papers are on the way.
"Hey, it's great. I'm just trying to get everything I can so I can really start paying attention to the schools I'm really interested in and then decide from there."
Cooper has already been to one junior day and that was to Texas last weekend. The next one he'd like to get to is also in-state.
"On March 3, I'm going to try and get up to Texas A&M for something they're having," Cooper said. "I know I'm going to try and make that one. I don't know about any others."
A decision timeframe is not something that Cooper has developed just yet.
"Once everything is perfect is when I'll decide," Cooper said. "There is a different factor to each school. I don't have a time period. I'm going to take as long as I need and then I'll make a commitment."
