Dallas DB picks Cougars

Dallas (Texas) Kimball safety Ryan Tennison has made a commitment, but it may not be over just yet.
The 5-foot-10, 190-pound safety gave his pledge on Monday to an in-state school, but says that the possibility of other trips is still out there.

"I just wanted to announce that I committed to Houston," Tennison said. "I liked the atmosphere, the staff, and everything there. I'd like to go there and play for conference championships."
As for how solid Tennison is at this time, he says that he is committed to the Cougars but is possibly thinking about taking some more visits before Signing Day.
"I still might get out before it's all said and done," he said. "I know that Wyoming wants me to come up there and SMU is also a place I'd like to visit. Colorado State is also one I'm going to take."
Regardless of other trips, his commitment to Houston had a lot to do with his recruiter, Clay Jennings.
"He's a great person and he gives it to you how it is," Tennison said. "I really respect that. He's a pretty good guy."
Tennison says he also plans to make an official visit to Houston after his winter break.
