Dallas back makes pick
Dallas Jesuit Prep running back John Wall is heading to the WAC with a commitment made this morning at his high school.

“John committed to Rice this morning,” Jesuit coach Bob Wunderlick said. “John, who officially visited Rice two weekends ago, gave coach Ken Hatfield the news in person today at Jesuit.”
Wall picked Rice over Purdue, Northwestern, Navy and Lehigh. He is also the third player from Jesuit to sign with Rice in the past 12 years.
Wall, who is 5-foot-10 and 195 pounds, rushed for 1,300 yards and 13 touchdowns this season. He was also named his team’s MVP.
