Dallas athlete focused on football

One of the many players on hand this weekend for the Kansas State-Texas game was Dallas St. Mark’s three-star athlete/receiver Kenton Thornton and the 6-foot-5, 190-pound prospect said he had a good time, but at this point he’s enjoying all parts of the recruiting process.
“It was good to get away and see a game,” Thornton said.

“I’ve been so busy with football, school and all of the commitments that I have to make to with school and the team. I’m still talking to pretty much the same teams as I was before – Texas, Stanford, Florida, Miami and California are the main ones. They’re all very interested in me.”
But Thornton said he’s not sure where he stands as far as scholarships.
“I’m just not really thinking too much about any of that,” Thornton, who is the No. 32 athlete in the nation, said. “I’m just so focused on my senior season.”
And that focus has paid off.
Thornton has 15 receptions for 308 yards and five touchdowns.
