Dallas-area QB adds third visit

Wichita Falls (Texas) Rider wide receiver Blake Szymanski has seen his recruitment pick up over the past month including two new schools today and one more official visit on the calendar.
"I got a call from Cal today," the 6-foot-4, 195-pound Szymanski said. "They are pretty interested. I talked to the offensive coordinator about how I could fit into their program and offense. They haven't offered me a scholarship yet. They and Texas Tech are the only two schools I'm talking to that haven't offered. TCU called today, too. I don't know how that will pan out. They are going to come by here this week sometime."

Szymanski has three official visits on the calendar.
"I am going to visit Tulsa this weekend," he said. "That is my first one. There is a chance I might go to Houston this weekend, but if I do that, I'll go to Tulsa on the weekend of Jan. 21. My other visit is to Baylor the weekend of Jan. 14."
A few schools have already made in-home visits with the Szymanski family.
"I've had coaches from Baylor, Tulsa and Texas Tech come by here so far," he said. "Houston has been by the school to talk to me. Right now, I don't have a favorite school."
