Mr. Matakis said, "Andy committed to Texas A&M as of August 4th. He was deciding between UCLA and Illinois as his other possibilities. Texas A&M gave him a full ride scholarship and had great academic prospects. He will be able to play right away as they don't plan to red-shirt him as a freshman and he will probably start at linebacker as a sophomore."
