D.J. Davis down to three teams
The calendar says the dead period doesn’t start for at least another week, but for Ft. Worth Dunbar four-star athlete D.J. Davis it sounds like the dead period is about to begin for him now that he’s done with his official visits.

“D.J. is going to make his decision this week,” his father, D.J. Davis, said. “But he’s not going to announce it to the public or to the coaches until the national all-star game down in San Antonio. We just walked in the door from Texas A&M, so this starts out dead period.
“We we’re going to now sit down and weigh the pros and cons of the decision.”
Many people thought that Notre Dame would be one of Davis’ final teams, but according to his father the list is down to three.
“Notre Dame is out of it,” his father said. “It’s Penn State, Missouri and probably Texas A&M.”
From all accounts, Davis had a great official visit this weekend to Texas A&M, but the visit obviously wore him out because he’s already in bed taking a nap.
