Ft. Worth Dunbar four-star cornerback, athlete D.J. Davis had been torn between Missouri and Texas A&M for more than two weeks now. Entering practices for the U.S. Army All-American Game in San Antonio, Davis said he wasn’t sure where he was going to end up. He’s sure now, and he’s committed too.

Davis announced his commitment to Texas A&M just moments ago in front of a national television audience.
Of all of the players here this week at the all-star game, Davis was the most quiet about his decision. In the end, it was his ability to feel comfortable with the coaches at Teas A&M that led him to his decision.
“My family felt this was the best decision for me, and I agree,” Davis, who is 5-foot-11 and 182 pounds, said. “I got a great feeling about A&M when I went on my official visit, and I know that coach (Dennis) Franchione will return Texas A&M to its greatness.”
Davis is ranked as the No. 7 athlete in the nation. He can project at a number of different positions, including cornerback and safety.
