Cyclones next for Bowman

Carthage, Texas dual-threat quarterback Marcus Bowman is definitely getting a lot of recruiting interest and a few offers. Bowman, who calls the signals for his high schoo team, could play a number of different spots at the Division I level.
The 6-foot-2, 196-pounder picked up his first offer from Arkansas. When his second offer came, it was no surprise to Bowman that he could play at a lot of different positions at yet another program.

"Iowa State just offered me, I just got the letter a few days ago," Bowman said. "I haven't really talked to coach Todd Fitch yet since I got the offer. I don't know where they want me at position-wise."
Bowman says that he doesn't have any favorites at this time. However, camps are the biggest thing on his plate at this point. UTEP was one of his first to attend and he plans on making it out to Arkansas in the near future as well.
"I went to the UTEP camp on Tuesday and it went really well," Bowman said. "The coach that is recruiting from there wanted me to throw in front of the quarterback coach. I thought I just did average, but they said I was very accurate.
"They're going to stay in touch with me and let me know about an offer over the next few days."
Bowman doesn't plan on stretching out his decision for too long.
"I'm thinking about waiting, but I'd actually like to get it out of the way and commit early," Bowman said. "That way, I don't have to worry about it."
Other than Arkansas, Bowman looks to head to the TCU camp, North Texas camp, and the Louisiana-Monroe camp as well.
