Cuts coming for R250 Okwara

Rivals250 prospect Julian Okwara has been picking up offers left and right. The Tennessee Volunteers were the latest to offer the Charlotte (N.C.) Ardrey Kell star.
"The coaches have been down a couple times," said the 6-foot-4, 210-pound Okwara. "I've talked to them before and Stephen Griffin, one of my good friends, goes there. I want to go up there to find out more about them."

Last weekend Okwara visited Florida State.
"Everything was fun at Florida State," he said. "I got to see the facilities and talk to the coaches. We saw the locker room and the facilities. We met some of the players and talked to them about what they like about the place."
There are about 20 schools that have offered Okwara a scholarship and he is getting close to naming a short list.
"Going to talk to my coach and my parents and hopefully will be able to narrow some things down in a couple weeks," Okwara said. "I talk to Notre Dame, Ole Miss and Michigan. They're the only ones I can think of right now along with Clemson.
"I'm going down to Clemson this weekend for their junior day but they haven't offered yet," he said. "Back then, Clemson was one of my favorite schools and I always thought about going there. The coaches have talked to me a lot. My defensive line coach used to play at Clemson.
"I'm not sure I'm going to end up playing at Notre Dame," said Okwara. "I've known about them for a long time, ever since the eighth grade when Coach Elston came down for my brother. I got to meet them then and talk to them. Whenever I've been up there they remind me how they been tracking me for a long time.
"Michigan is a really good school," he said. "It's cool that coach Harbaugh is there. He's coached at all different levels including college and the NFL. It's pretty cool that he is coming in to turn around the program and get everybody ready. The coaches are cool too. They talk to me on twitter.
"I've watched a lot of Ole Miss and I saw the run they made last year," Okwara said. "The area they play in is cool and I like the walk they have to the stadium. It seems like everybody around there is really into them."
Okwara has a few other visits in mind other than this weekend's visit to Clemson.
"I might be going to Notre Dame in a couple weeks but I'm not sure," he said. "I want to visit Ole Miss and LSU. LSU is one of the schools that is talking to me a lot. I probably want to get to South Carolina and Tennessee soon."
Last season Ardrey Kell won ten games.
