Cushing makes change to list

Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic linebacker Brian Cushing wants to go to a school that really wants him. And with good reason as the 6-foot-3, 225-pounder is one of the nation's Top 100 players. So what changes has he made to his list?
"I've lost interest in Michigan for now," said Cushing, who took an unofficial visit to Ann Arbor a month ago. "I felt like they were playing around with me. I lost trust in them after they offered jerome Hayes (fellow NJ linebacker) after I was willing to commit to them when I visited."

Cushing said he doesn't have a favorite among his top eight schools.
"I like Stanford, Boston College, Virginia Tech, Michigan State, Ohio State, Syracuse, Rutgers and Southern Cal right now, but no one stands out," he said. "I'm just going to take things very slow and see where I stand after some camps. Virginia Tech just offered me and my teammate, Jim Dray, yesterday and I like them. They're my fifth offer.
Cushing will attend the NIKE Camp in Virginia on April 18 and will also be at the Elite College Prospect Combine at the New Jersey Meadowlands on May 5.
"I hope to show what I can do at those camps and get a few more offers," said Cushing, who has offers from Stanford, BC, Rutgers and Michigan State in addition to his most recent offer from the Hokies. "I can't wait for them."
As a junior, Cushing was named all-county, all-North Jersey and all-state after he recorded 120 tackles, 10 sacks and seven interceptions.
