Cushing back from final visit

Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic linebacker Brian Cushing took his final official visit this past weekend, to Boston College, and has a very tough decision coming. How did he like Chestnut Hill and when will his final decision be made. The four-star linebacker will announce his intentions on ESPNews on Wednesday, Feb. 2 at 4:20PM EST.
"It was a good trip," said Cushing, a 6-foot-4, 230-pounder. "The players there are good kids and we have a lot in common. I think I fit in well there and it's close to home, which is an advantage."

Cushing was hosted by fellow New Jersey native Brian Toal, a standout linebacker who chose the Eagles over 50-plus offers last year.
"Talking to him about the situation and choice was good," he said. "He and I get along well. We went to the basketball game and they have a great team and then went out Saturday night. I basically hung out with the players and got to know a lot of them."
Cushing has long considered Southern Cal his leader. Has that changed?
"You can say USC is still in front, but it's close," he said. "I also like Miami, Boston College and Florida a lot. It's funny because my dad really wants me to go to BC, my brother wants me to go to Miami and I don't know for sure where I want to go. My mom wants whatever I want. We all plan on talking it over during the next couple days and deciding."
Cushing is glad the end is nearing.
"It's been a lot of fun but also a long process," he said. "Just a couple more days and it will be over."
Cushing will be at the Manhattan ESPN Zone on Wednesday to announce his decision to a national audience.
"I'll probably have to bring more than one jersey," he said. "It could come right down to a gut feeling down there."
