Cuse visit good for QB

Quarterback Jabulani Lovelace just got back from his visit to Syracuse. So how did the visit go over with three-star prospect?
“It was good, I got to meet with the players and coaches and sit in on meetings, it went really well,” Lovelace said.

Did the visit bring him any closer to committing to the Orangemen?
“I am pretty much set between Syracuse and Vanderbilt,” said the 6-foot-2, 190-pounder. “It (the visit) did give them an edge, but also they have a good winning tradition and the coaches assured me they’ll be there for a while.”
The 25th-best dual-threat quarterback in the country rated his visit to Syracuse a 9.5.
“I was really impressed by the relationship the players have with each other.”
This season Lovelace helped Tenafly, N.J. to a 6-4 record and a loss in the playoffs. He posted 1,500 yards passing, 900 yards rushing and 28 total touchdowns.
Lovelace’s next visit is next weekend at Vanderbilt, although he mentioned that his recruiting may not be over with yet.
“I might consider visits to Rutgers and Connecticut,” he said, “They’ve been showing a lot of interest and they both have offered.”
As for when a decision will be made, he said, “Sometime after the Vanderbilt trip.”
