Cuse Lands A FB

The Syracuse Orangemen have a great tradition at fullback and this player could only enhance that rep.
"I committed to Syracuse," said 6-foot, 240-pound fullback Breyone Evans from Bristol (Conn.) Bristol Central. "I was really tempted to go out to Wisconsin because I visited there and liked it a lot, but you can't beat the fullback tradition at Syracuse and the way they get the fullbacks involved."

Evans, who rushed for 500 yards as a junior, had offers from Iowa, Michigan State, UConn and Wisconsin as well as Syracuse.
"It's close to home, I can get back and forth easily and everyone can see me play without making a whole trip out of it," he said. "In the back of my mind, Syracuse was always my first choice but I wanted to see a few other places first."
Evans could also play linebacker in college.
