Curtis likely to decide on an official visit

Orlando (Fla.) Olympia three-star offensive tackle Shawn Curtis wrapped up a busy summer with a camp visit this week.
"I was at Florida State this week," Curtis said. "It was a great experience. I really liked the coaching staff there. I really like the area."

The 6-foot-5, 265-pound offensive lineman had previously visited four out-of-state schools as well.
"I have been to North Carolina, North Carolina State, Duke, and Wake Forest," Curtis said.
With a number of visits under his belt, Curtis is starting to understand what he is looking for in a school.
"I think a little bit," Curtis said. "I am looking for a great coaching staff that I can really get along with. I am looking for an area that I can fall in love with and that I love being around. I am also looking at the education that the school could give me."
Curtis' next visits will likely be during the season.
"My next visit will probably be my official visits," Curtis said. "I am starting to figure those outs. I know I am going to take one to Iowa State, Syracuse, and Mississippi State."
He has narrowed down his lengthy list of options.
"I would say it is shortened," Curtis said. "Iowa State, Syracuse, FSU, USF, Mississippi State, and N.C. State. I still like those schools. They are still very high."
"I don't have a leader," Curtis said.
All of those schools have offered Curtis with the exception of Florida State.
As for when he will decide, Curtis' official visits will be pivotal in helping him to make a decision.
"I will just make it on one of these official visits during the season," Curtis said.
