Kurvin Curry is off to a fast start to his senior season at Hartwell (Ga.) Hart County. The two-star prospect is listed as a pro-style quarterback but his ability to make plays with his feet has got some programs talking about him as more than just a quarterback. Rivals.com caught up with the Georgia prospect.
"Right now I have offers from Duke and Central Michigan," Curry said. "But UAB and Georgia Southern have been showing a lot of interest lately and I think they may offer me soon."
Despite his early offers from the Blue Devils and Chippewas, Curry is excited about the recent interest from Georgia Southern.
"I really like Georgia Southern," Curry said. "They're recruiting me as an athlete which I really like. They want me to play wide receiver or DB.
"I went to the Georgia Southern-West Georgia game last Saturday which was really good," said the 6-foot-0 190-pounder. "I really like Statesboro a lot. I like the atmosphere down there and I talked to the coaches and got a good feeling from them."
With potential offers still coming, the quarterback plans on taking his time with his recruitment.
Though he had said at an earlier date that he wanted to end his recruitment early, Curry now is in less of a hurry.
"I'm probably gonna take my time and see what happens," he said.
