Cunningham now solid

Just about a month ago Akron commit Seth Cunningham said he was interested in checking out some of the schools in BCS conferences he had been hearing from.
Since then he has become convinced that Akron is the place he wants to be. This in spite of picking up offers from North Carolina, Iowa and Cincinnati.

It's not often that a recruit chooses a program in the MAC over schools like that, but it's a testament to the Akron coaching staff and Cunningham's belief that he has found a perfect fit.
"As of right now I'm really sold on Akron," Cunningham explained. "I've talked to Ohio State, Michigan State, Iowa and North Carolina, but I'm really sold on Akron."
The 6-foot, 170-pound corner from Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward will be a big addition for Akron. While he hasn't had many opportunities to showcase his skills this year, it's evident he can play.
"Our season's going alright," he said. "As of right now we're 2-3. We just played Elder and they only threw the ball to my side one time. I haven't really been challenged all year. I've made some nice hits and I had one pass deflected, but it's been frustrating."
