On Monday, Palm Bay (Fla.) Bayside wide receiver Neally Cunningham picked up his first offer.
"Connecticut offered me today," Cunningham said. "That is my first offer. It felt great to know that I have a place to go."
Since receiving the offer, the 6-foot-2, 193-pound wide receiver has had an opportunity to speak briefly with Connecticut defensive coordinator Don Brown, who recruits the Palm Bay area.

"Coach Brown just told me about the facilities and how they are a major team in the Big East," Cunningham said. "He also said they would stay in contact with me a lot."
Cunningham hopes to make his way to Storrs during the summer to learn more about the Huskies in-person.
In addition to Connecticut, Cunningham is hearing from Florida, Florida International, and Miami.
He has previously taken an unofficial visit to see the Gators and Hurricanes.
"I went to Florida for the annual Orange and Blue game," Cunningham said. "I toured the campus and met a few of the players. I also got a chance to see the locker room and weight room. I also talked with their wide receivers coach (Aubrey Hill) while I was there."
"I went to Miami and spent a day with the coaches," Cunningham said. "I ate lunch with them. I met some players. We talked about my position and how I could fit in there. We talked about their academics and NCAA requirements."
As a junior, Cunningham had 32 receptions for 559 yards and nine touchdowns.
