Cumberland looking at a half dozen schools

Columbus (Ohio) Brookhaven tight end Jeff Cumberland has a half dozen scholarship offers. He is looking at several of the schools that have offered and a few that haven't.
"I'm going to some games," Cumberland said. "I don't know which ones yet. But I'll go to the Ohio State-Texas game for sure."
Cumberland made a few trips this summer.
"I went to the NIKE Camp in California," he said. "And the Akron camp.
"And I went up to Michigan State for a visit. And Indiana and Ohio State.
"I'm looking at Ohio State, Minnesota, Miami, Michigan State, USC, and Indiana a little.
"Michigan State, Indiana, and Minnesota offered me. I'd say I have about five or six offers.
"I don't have a favorite."
The 6-foot-4 and 220-pound Cumberland caught 19 passes and scored eight times during his junior season as Brookhaven went 15-0 including a state championship. Cumberland is the No. 12 prospect in the state of Ohio in the player rankings.
