Culver looking at four

Although Palmdale (Calif.) was pounded by Santa Fe Springs (Calif.) St. Paul in the Western Div. CIF title game over the weekend, Falcon two way standout Malcom Culver showed he's a talented player and a definite Div I prospect.
Culver, 6-1, 185 pounds has the ability to play receiver or cornerback at the next level. On the season, Culver caught 20 balls for 421 yards and five touchdowns and added 40 tackles and three interceptions on defense.

Culver is a smooth athlete with good speed and leaping ability. He was very good against the run, is a sure tackler and is not afraid to mix it up.
On the recruiting front, Culver said he's still waiting for his first offer and has four main schools he's hearing from.
"I haven't set up any trips yet but I know I'm going to visit San Diego State and San Jose State," Culver said. "I'm also hearing a lot from Fresno State and Utah as well.
"I'm planning to take my visits into January so I'm not close to making a decision right now. After I take my visits, then I'll be ready to make my decision but I don't have a leader right now."
Culver has an older brother Tyrone who played defensive back for Fresno State from 2001-2005.
