"Clemson, Tennessee and Auburn have been calling me a lot this month," Culpepper said. "I am pretty much down to Tennessee and Auburn though so when other schools call I'm pretty up front with them about it and I tell them thanks, but that I'm not interested."
The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Culpepper attended the NIKE camp in Athens where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.76 seconds, the shuttle in 4.69 seconds and posted a 32-inch vertical jump.
"I went to the Auburn-Ball State game earlier this year and I really loved the atmosphere," Culpepper said. "They let me down on the field before the game and I got to talk to the coaches. I just know what Goggans and the coaches at Tennessee have told me. It's really a matter of whether I want to stay at home or go off to school."
Culpepper is ranked as the No. 32 player in the state of Alabama by Rivals.com.
"I want to go ahead and commit soon," Culpepper said. "I still need to check out Tennessee though. If Goggans dad is driving this weekend I may go up with them and watch the game."
As a junior Culpepper collected 74 tackles and 23 sacks for the powerhouse program.
