Cuffee hits the road

Waco (Texas) defensive back Eric Cuffee has his top five of Auburn, Ole Miss, TCU, Texas A&M, and Texas, and there are a few reasons each program in his top five stands out from the rest.
"I just liked the defensive coaches and defensive schemes," Cuffee said. "I felt like those schools were the best fit for me."

The past two weekends he took unofficial visits to two big games featuring programs in his top five. The first was a trip to the Red River Rivalry in Dallas to see the Longhorns and Sooners.
"It was a great game," Cuffee said. "Texas was the underdog coming into the game and they did what they had to do to come out on top."
Saturday he was in College Station to watch Texas A&M host Alabama.
"It always feels good to get out there and see the atmosphere out there and see how many people are at the game and things like that," Cuffee said. "It's pretty exciting."
He hopes to take a few more unofficial visits in the near future.
"Yeah I was going to take an unofficial visit to Ole Miss and drive up there. I don't know what game but I'll be planning it soon. I'll have to will work with my schedule right now," Cuffee said. "And TCU, I'll go to maybe the next game they play at home. I don't know yet."
Auburn will most likely have to be an official visit, and he plans to take his official visits after the season.
Cuffee plans to make his college decision at the Under Armour All-American game, and at this point he is not ready to declare a leader among his top five.
"They're all the same, all the schools are at the same place right now," Cuffee said.
