Cuba adds two Big 12 offers

Tyler (Texas) Lee is quickly living up to the tradition of being a hotspot in recruiting. Wide receiver Jacob Amie has added several offers and his teammate, safety Tekerrein Cuba is following right along.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Cuba recently picked up scholarship offers from Missouri and Nebraska to go along with his previous three from Houston, Texas Tech, and Texas A&M. Two in-state schools still hold the lead.

"Texas Tech and A&M stand out," Cuba said. "I just like how their defense runs. I feel like I could fit in with them. Plus, they're both recruiting me the hardest right now."
Cuba got phone calls in mail from two out-of-state schools - Florida and LSU. The Gators were one school that seemed serious about offering.
"They just said they were going to offer me soon," Cuba said. "Right now, they just want me to keep working hard in the classroom."
Cuba has yet to take any vists yet, but says that he'll be looking at that in the summer. No camp plans have been finalized.
The East Texas prospect says that he'll decide later on in the process.
"I want to go ahead and commit at the beginning of next year," he said.
The spring also was good for the talented defender. Cuba racked up two tackles and two breakups in his spring game.
